About Me

Welcome to my portfolio! I am a third year student at Oakland University majoring in Elementary Education. I am also from Rochester Hills, Michigan! My dream is to become an educator of future generations and be a shining light in their lives. I am also in my third year on Oakland University Dance Team where I share my other passion of mine, dance! Along with being on my college dance team, I have assisted/taught and continue to teach recreational dance varying from ages 5-15 years old. I have taught dance over the last 7 years! It is clear that I have a strong passion for working with kids! 

Throughout my time at Oakland University, I have had field placements inside a 5th grade classroom, three Kindergarten classes, and a 3rd grade classroom. I have gained so much from each experience and I cannot wait to implement what I have learned into my own classroom environment!
