Within a small group, I enacted a lesson on the topic of PEMDAS in a mathematical approach. I emphasized the meaning of each letter in the acronym by presenting an equation and answering it as a group. The acronym PEMDAS is in regards to the order of operations and is in the order of Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, and Subtraction. The students are to understand how to answer the equation in correct terms.
